WWE has touted the success of Money in the Bank 2023, which emanated from The O2 in London, England on Saturday, July 1.

WWE stated in a press release that the 2023 edition of the show was the most successful and highest-grossing Money in the Bank in the event's history. Money in the Bank 2023 also set a new WWE record as the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history, while Friday Night SmackDown from The O2 on June 30 was the highest-grossing episode of SmackDown of all time.

SmackDown and Money in the Bank generated a combined gate of over $5.4 million, while Money in the Bank also set new records for viewership, sponsorship, merchandise, and social media. Viewership was up 17 percent from last year's Money in the Bank and up 30 percent from 2022's Clash at the Castle that aired from Cardiff, Wales. Sponsorship revenue, meanwhile, was up nine percent from Money in the Bank 2022, and the July 1 event was the highest-grossing arena event for venue merchandise in WWE history.

Money in the Bank was a major event for WWE and saw Damian Priest and IYO SKY win their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. Roman Reigns was pinned for the first time since December 2019 in the main event of the show as he and Solo Sikoa lost the Bloodline Civil War to The Usos.
