WWE Unconcerned About Clash At The Castle 2024 Not Selling Out

WWE still expecting a Clash at the Castle sellout

Tickets for WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 went on sale on Wednesday, April 24, initially through a presale before tickets went on general sale from Friday, April 26. Instead of releasing single-event tickets for Clash at the Castle and the taping of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE have only made combo tickets available for fans to purchase.

WWE Clash at the Castle looked on course to quickly sell out after over 14,000 fans were in the Ticketmaster queue for tickets to the event during the presale. Thousands of fans then queued when the general sale opened a couple of days later. The pay-per-view has yet to sell out, however, and the price of combo tickets actually fuelled a backlash on social media as prices ranged from £175.65 to £2,945.40. These ticket prices were set while the United Kingdom is still amidst a cost of living crisis.

Thousands of tickets are still available for Clash at the Castle, with the cheapest tickets available sitting at £390.40. Despite the lack of a quick sellout, WWE are unconcerned, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, as prices can be lowered at a later date.

Meltzer replied to a fan, "Yes, exactly as you said" after they tweeted, "Any word on how Clash at the Castle ticket sales are being viewed internally? Should have been a day 1 sell out but VERY high ticket prices mean there are tons of tickets left. Is it simply not a concern as they can be lowered at a later date and still sell out?

WWE Clash at the Castle will emanate from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, June 15. SmackDown will take place in the same venue on Friday, June 14.
