Although trailers have shown a documentary on former WCW and TNA Champion Sting was in the works, the exact details had yet to be announced.
However,
WWE Network Newsannounced over the weekend that
WWE Untold: Sting's Last Stand
will air this coming Friday (November 22) focusing on the Stinger's final match.
Former Universal Champion Seth Rollins and many more Superstars are expected to feature. The match in question was Sting's attempt to capture the WWE Championship from Seth Rollins at Night of Champions 2015, in which he was injured following a buckle bomb to the corner, and was later diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis.
Here is what the official synopsis states: "For the first time in his legendary 30-year career, Sting challenged for the WWE Championship. 'The Vigilante', Seth Rollins and more reveal the never-before-told stories behind what became The Stinger’s final match."
'WWE Day Of: The 2019 WWE Draft'
will also debut before Survivor Series on Sunday. The feature will follow WWE superstars Bayley and Charlotte Flair and many more as they wait to find out whether they have been drafted to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown.
A new episode of WWE's long-running series
Ride Along
will also be released following tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw. It will follow WWE Hall Of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita, along with Kevin Owens, Mustafa Ali and Apollo Crews, as they travel to Friday Night Smackdown's premiere on FOX.
