WWE Using Tik Tok To Find SummerSlam 2021 Ring Announcers

WWE are offering two fans the opportunity to be ring announcers at their next pay-per-view, SummerSlam 2021, through TikTok.

WWE are one of a number of promotions that have recently begun accepting job applications through the social media website and Vince McMahon's promotion have now launched a competition to find two members of the WWE Universe to take part in the biggest party of the summer.

According to Sportico, WWE have invited fans to audition for a ring announcer role via Tik Tok and two winners will be chosen to announce matches at the pay-per-view in Las Vegas on Saturday 21 August, 2021.

“Our engagement on TikTok to date has been incredible, and we couldn’t think of a better platform to help us find the next great ring announcer,” Steve Braband, WWE’s vice president of digital, said in a statement.

Fans can submit their videos on Tik Tok with the hashtag #WWEAnnouncerContest, with the winners chosen on August 16. The two winners will receive a comped trip to Las Vegas to participate in the event.
