Solo Sikoa celebrating with Hikuleo, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo

WWE’s Bloodline storyline has been ongoing in some way, shape, or form since 2020 when Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming as a heel, becoming ‘The Tribal Chief’ in the process. Over the years, the likes of Paul Heyman have made comments on The Bloodline storyline having many chapters or “innings”. In 2025, Roman Reigns earned the ‘Tribal Chief’ moniker back from Solo Sikoa, who has drifted in his own direction with The MFT faction containing several names not a part of the Anoa’i dynasty.

Reigning United States Champion Sikoa spoke to WrestleZone, claiming that The Bloodline story is still in its third inning.

“I think it’s just keep the fans guessing. Everybody thought the Bloodline story was done. Me and Roman fought [and they thought it was done], but we were just getting started. I’m not even done yet, I’m not close to being done. I don’t know if anyone remembers Paul Heyman saying it’s [still] the third inning. It’s the third inning. I mean, to me it is. There’s still plenty more to come. I still think that means for both sides too, with [Heyman] and Roman and what they got going on, and us too. For Paul to say that, he’s not even here and we’re not on the same team, but it’s the third inning. We’re just getting started.”

At the back end of 2024, Roman Reigns revealed that he'd been thinking about what the Bloodline story could look like in three years' time, suggesting that it will continue on for many years to come.
