Wyatt Sicks Crowned New WWE Tag Team Champions On SmackDown

WWE held Friday Night SmackDown in the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee last night in an event that served as the go-home show to both Evolution 2025 and Saturday Night’s Main Event, and it proved to be a noteworthy show for one team in particular. 

After months of pursuing and terrorizing the SmackDown tag team division, The Wyatt Sicks were handed another shot at WWE Tag Team Title gold, after having previously been screwed out of their opportunity by all the other duos on the SmackDown roster. With no shenanigans at play, The Wyatt Sicks were able to use the numbers game to their advantage in order to defeat Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford of The Street Profits. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy hit a powerbomb combination on Ford to secure the victory, becoming the brand new WWE Tag Team Champions - the first title for either man in WWE. 

Earlier this year, there were reports surfacing of Alexa Bliss re-joining the faction, but with her busy alongside Charlotte Flair in the women’s tag team division, it seems as though Bliss’ plans to become spooky again have been put on the backburner.
