X-Pac Rules Out Appearing In WWE Royal Rumble

No X-Pac in the WWE Royal Rumble this year

With the Royal Rumble scheduled for January 28, excitement is reaching fever pitch, with fans the world over wondering what names from wrestling’s past, present, and future could make a surprise appearance in the 30-man clash.

One name that won’t be appearing in this year’s Rumble though, is that of X-Pac, with the WWE Hall of Famer saying on Twitter:

“For the last 8 months, I've been enjoying life & eating whatever the f--- I want. In other words, there's no chance of me being in the Rumble. But I really appreciate those of you who have expressed their desire to see me appear.”

X-Pac last appeared in a Royal Rumble in the year 2000 edition, which was won by The Rock. The former European Champion also appeared in the 1999 Royal Rumble, and the 1996 edition under the 1-2-3 Kid gimmick.

The former D-Generation X and New World Order rabble-rouser hasn’t wrestled since March 2022, where X-Pac suffered an injury during a loss to Joey Janela at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6.
