Woods wants the white leather to resurface.

New Day member Xavier Woods still has singles goals he wants to accomplish.
Not only would the 2021 King of the Ring winner like to have a run with the Intercontinental Title, he would also like to bring back its classic design.
Speaking with Superstar Crossover, Woods said:
"Specifically, I want the white leather Intercontinental Championship. I like a story. Me and Seth Rollins are the only ones to beat Roman, you know, up until Jey had pinned him. We don't talk about that, mind you, but that's fine. In my head, I feel like in order to climb that mountain and become World Champion one day, I need a US Championship run, I need an Intercontinental Championship run. I need to not only prove to everybody but more importantly, prove to myself that I can stand on my own, I can do this as a solo guy".
Xavier did stress that he doesn't need to split from Kofi Kingston in order to achieve his singles goals.
The white leather Intercontinental Title belt has been brought back previously, including by Cody Rhodes in 2011. Current Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER is closing in on The Honky Tonk Man's record for the longest uninterrupted reign with the title.
