Zac Efron Open To AEW Appearance

Zac Efron has recently dipped his toes in the professional wrestling world after starring in 'The Iron Claw' movie, following the Von Erich family. In the movie, Efron plays the role of Kevin Von Erich, with the film following his life. 

Also in the movie is AEW World Champion MJF, who also had the role of Executive Producer, and some members of the Von Erich family recently showed up on AEW programming too. These connections open up the possibility of a crossover of sorts and a cameo for a big name like Zac Efron. 

When speaking on the Masked Man Show, Efron was posed the question of whether he’d get into the ring for real. 

"It’d be fun if we could get in there with some of the guys we worked with, with Chavo [Guerrero ]or even the Von Erichs coming back with AEW. I’d love to do something with them. If we had some time and prep and, especially if we were all out there together, that would be fun as hell. Who knows. Don’t count it out, that’s for sure."

Efron’s overall positivity in response to this question and even naming AEW outright as somewhere he would love to work certainly opens the door for it to happen down the line.
