Zack Sabre Jr. Sends Message To Bryan Danielson On ROH TV
Zack Sabre Jr. called out Bryan Danielson on ROH TV
The era of Honor returned on March 2, as ROH TV returned to the airwaves, with a star studded first show airing on HonorClub.
It wasn’t just ROH and AEW stars who competed on the show, as NJPW’s Zack Sabre Jr. was in action, successfully defending his NJPW World TV Championship against Blake Christian.
During the bout, ZSJ lay on the apron and spoke into the ringside camera, calling out Bryan Danielson:
"Oi Bryan. Bryan, you watching mate? I'm the best technical wrestler in the world," said Sabre Jr., before returning to the match.
Danielson and ZSJ are widely considered the two best technical wrestlers in the world, and were originally meant to clash at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in June 2022, but Danielson was pulled from the match as he was not medically cleared to compete.
With AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II rumoured to be set for June, it remains to be seen if we finally get Danielson vs. ZSJ on the big stage, with the two having only wrestled twice before, with their last match over 14 years ago in wXw’s 16 Carat Gold Tournament in 2009.
