2023 AEW Revolution Set For San Francisco

AEW's coming to the Bay Area

The 2023 AEW Revolution is officially coming to San Francisco, as confirmed by Tony Khan during the post-Full Gear media scrum.

Revolution will take place at San Francisco's Chase Center on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Dynamite and Rampage in the preceding days will emanate from San Francisco's Cow Palace.

The Chase Center is home to the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors. The venue opened in 2019, and can seat over 19,000 fans for concerts.

The series of events will mark the first time AEW has run shows in northern California. AEW hit southern California for the first time back in June, when they held Dynamite in Los Angeles.

The 2020 Revolution was held at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. In the main event, Jon Moxley became AEW World champion for the first time, ending the six month reign of Chris Jericho.

AEW ran the 2021 card at Daily's Place in Jacksonville during the pandemic. The show closed with Kenny Omega retaining the World title over Moxley in an Exploding Ring Death Match.

The 2022 event was held at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando. Adam Page retained the World title in the main event, defeating Adam Cole.
