Tony Khan Says AEW, TBS, & TNT Are Here To Stay 'For A Long Time'

Tony Khan claims AEW are continuing their partnership with TNT & TBS

Reports this week potentially shed light on All Elite Wrestling’s new deal with Warner Bros Discovery, with it believed that AEW is set to re-sign with WBD for four years (three guaranteed with an additional option year) for around $170million per year.

AEW President Tony Khan commented on the rumoured deal - which some say could be announced next week - and whilst he didn’t comment on the details Khan suggested to Busted Open Radio that a deal has been reached:

“I know they have been reporting things that are very interesting. There are a lot of reports and rumours. I have not confirmed and Warner Brothers has not confirmed anything officially,” Khan said, adding that he has not leaked any information. “I think we have a really exciting future there. I can say with 100% certainty, AEW and TBS and TNT are here to stay for a long time.”

WBD have been AEW’s broadcast partners since the promotion’s inception in 2019, with flagship show Dynamite airing on Wednesdays on TBS - after initially airing on TNT - whilst sister show Collision airs Saturday nights on TNT.

The proposed deal states that AEW programming will air twice weekly across WBD stations, prompting reports that this could see the end of AEW Rampage.
