Adebayo Akinfenwa Pulls Out Of PROGRESS Wrestling In-Ring Debut

No Adebayo Akinfenwa at PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 146

PROGRESS Wrestling's Chapter 146: They Think It's All Over event was set to be headlined with a major match on Sunday, November 27 as Adebayo Akinfenwa was scheduled to make his in-ring debut and team with Anthony Ogogo against Malik and Kosta Konstantino.

Akinfenwa didn't make his in-ring debut on Sunday, though, instead announcing ahead of the show that he had been "called away" and was unable to compete on November 27. 'Beast Mode' also mentioned that his shoulder wasn't at 100 percent but he promised to take out Malik and Kosta Konstantino at some point in the future.

The other three competitors were still in action at Chapter 146, with Ogogo teaming with Dan Moloney to take on Kosta and Malik instead.

Elsewhere at Chapter 146, Spike Trivet retained the PROGRESS World Championship in a match with Jonathan Gresham, Lana Austin captured the PROGRESS Women's Title, and Ricky Knight Jr. won the PROGRESS Natural Progression Series.

When Akinfenwa will make his in-ring debut remains to be seen.
