Amale Suspended By Several Promotions After Coming Forward With Abuse Allegations

Amale suspended following abuse allegations against Tristan Archer

After accusing Tristan Archer of physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusing her for several years, Amale has been suspended by multiple European independent wrestling promotions, Fightful's Corey Brennan has reported.

WXW have severed ties with Tristan Archer and they have not taken action against Amale. Six European promotions, including BZW, CACC, APC Catch, La Bagarre, and Rixe, have suspended Amale as well as Tristan Archer, however.

Corey Brennan tweeted: "So in asking further, Amale has also been suspended along with Tristan Archer. Multiple sources tell me Archer was contacted by the promotions involved - while Amale was not."

The confirmation comes after the six promotions issued the following statement in all capital letters (translated on DeepL):

"DEAR PARTNERS, DEAR SPECTATORS, WE REMAIN RESOLUTELY COMMITTED TO OFFERING THE BEST PROGRAMME TO OUR AUDIENCES WHILE ENSURING A HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH OUR PERFORMERS AND OUR SPECTATORS.

"FOR THIS REASON, WE CONDEMN IN THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE TERMS ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE, BOTH PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND WILL FIGHT TO DRIVE SUCH BEHAVIOUR OUT OF OUR STRUCTURES.

"AS WE ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THE COURTS, IT IS NOT OUR PLACE TO COMMENT DIRECTLY ON RECENT EVENTS AFFECTING THE FRENCH-SPEAKING CIRCUIT.

"NEVERTHELESS, IN VIEW OF THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE PUBLIC AND OTHERS THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS, WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE PARTICIPATION IN THE GALAS OF THE SIGNATORY PROMOTIONS OF ALL THE PEOPLE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THIS AFFAIR WILL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

"YOUR TRUST AND LOYALTY ARE PRECIOUS TO US.

"TOGETHER, THE STRUCTURES ARE PROVIDING UNWAVERING SUPPORT TO ALL THE VICTIMS INVOLVED.

"WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN CINEMAS ACROSS FRANCE AND BELGIUM VERY SOON."
