New Title Match Announced For AEW Grand Slam

AEW Grand Slam has another title match added to the card

AEW Grand Slam 2024 is receiving a stacked card for the company’s year visit to the Arthur Ashe Stadium, with the show already featuring the likes of Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley and AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness. On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, a new match was added to the show.

After FTW Champion Hook initially issued out a challenge on this past week’s AEW Dynamite, a title defence was made official for Grand Slam against The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong. Their feud has been ongoing ever since the post-All In episode of Dynamite, when Hook pinned Strong in an eight-man tag team match, but Strong’s foot was under the bottom rope. Strong did not take kindly to this, attacking Hook afterwards and holding up the FTW Championship.

The updated card for AEW Grand Slam 2024 is as follows;

  • Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley - Number One Contender for AEW World Championship
  • Bryan Danielson Vs. Nigel McGuinness
  • The Young Bucks (c) vs. Will Ospreay & Kyle Fletcher - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • Hook (c) vs. Roderick Strong - FTW Championship
