WXW Cuts Ties With Tristan Archer Following Abuse Allegations

Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) have severed ties with Tristan Archer. This comes after former WWE NXT UK wrestler Amale accused Archer of physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusing her over several years. 

wXw wrote on X (FKA Twitter): "In light of the allegations against him, we will no longer be working with Tristan Archer."

France's APC Catch promotion have also announced that Archer will no longer be a part of their upcoming shows, writing (translated): "Following recent events and after deliberation with the members of the APC management, it has been decided that Tristan Archer will not appear on the organization's upcoming shows."

Six other promotions, including BZW, CACC, and Rixe have suspended all parties involved in the situation while claiming it is not their place to comment directly on the matter. The six promotions did condemn all forms of violence, issuing a statement in all capital letters (translated on DeepL): 

"DEAR PARTNERS, DEAR SPECTATORS, WE REMAIN RESOLUTELY COMMITTED TO OFFERING THE BEST PROGRAMME TO OUR AUDIENCES WHILE ENSURING A HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH OUR PERFORMERS AND OUR SPECTATORS.

"FOR THIS REASON, WE CONDEMN IN THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE TERMS ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE, BOTH PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND WILL FIGHT TO DRIVE SUCH BEHAVIOUR OUT OF OUR STRUCTURES.

"AS WE ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THE COURTS, IT IS NOT OUR PLACE TO COMMENT DIRECTLY ON RECENT EVENTS AFFECTING THE FRENCH-SPEAKING CIRCUIT.

"NEVERTHELESS, IN VIEW OF THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE PUBLIC AND OTHERS THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS, WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE PARTICIPATION IN THE GALAS OF THE SIGNATORY PROMOTIONS OF ALL THE PEOPLE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THIS AFFAIR WILL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
