AEW Revolution 2023 Likely To Feature Fewer Matches

AEW Revolution 2023 set to feature fewer matches on the card than past instalments

Whilst All Elite Wrestling only run four brand only pay-per-views per year, they make sure to give as many people as possible a time to shine, with AEW PPVs known to be long affairs featuring many many matches.

However, it looks like AEW Revolution 2023 will buck the trend somewhat, with AEW President Tony Khan revealing on the In the Kliq podcast that Revolution isn’t likely to feature as many matches as previous AEW PPVs:

“We’re still working towards Revolution,” said Khan. “I think to your point, because there’s a one-hour Iron Man match on the card that there will probably be a little bit less matches on the card than there’ll normally be but also, there will be a lot of quality and also, the highest quality because Revolution is always one of our best shows so I won’t try to stuff too much into the card.

“You’re going to get a lot of matches, a lot of great matches. It’ll probably be a little different than our other shows because we never had anything like this where you knew the main event was gonna go one hour in this huge Iron Man match coming up March 5th at Revolution.”
