AEW's Trent Beretta Is Injured

Trent Beretta is ruled out of action

On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, Don Callis Family member and recently turned heel Trent Beretta was on the end of an attack by former friend Orange Cassidy, who was wielding a monkey wrench and took aim at the man who betrayed him. This came after Cassidy & O’Reilly lost a tag team match against the Undisputed Kingdom’s Mike Bennett & Matt Taven. This may well have been done to write Beretta off AEW programming for the time being, as it has been revealed that he is injured.

Fightful Select have reported that Beretta is currently sidelined with an injury, which may have dated back all the way to the 2024 Double Or Nothing PPV, where he wrestled Cassidy in a singles match. Ever since, Beretta hasn’t competed in a match, despite still holding a presence on AEW TV most weeks. It is noted by Fightful that Beretta was set for a push prior to his injury, but he hasn’t been cleared to compete for a while.

Beretta is supposedly out for the summer, but there are not too many details about when he is expected to be back in action.
