Another WWE Main Roster Call-Up Revealed

A unique WWE main roster call-up is set to be carried out. 

According to Fightful Select, Alicia Tayor - the ring announcer at NXT - will be moving to the main roster in the near future. There is no word on which brand Taylor will be the ring announcer for but she will be a main roster ring announcer alongside Samantha Irvin, with Mike Rome planned to begin on NXT imminently. 

Alicia Taylor has been the ring announcer for WWE NXT since 2019, replacing Kayla Braxton. Mike Rome, meanwhile, was the NXT ring announcer from 2016 until 2019 when he moved to the main roster. Rome was on hand for ring announcing duties on Raw until 2023 when he switched to Friday Night SmackDown.

There is no word on why WWE decided to carry out a ring announcer reshuffle. The company has just completed a roster shake-up, though, as part of the WWE Draft that saw the likes of Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, Lyra Valkyria, and Blair Davenport be drafted to either Raw or SmackDown from NXT. 

Prior to signing with WWE, Alicia Taylor was a musician and she has played drums for the likes of Kate Nash, Kelly Osbourne, and Selena Gomez. She also played drums for Disney's Hannah Montana show.
