Backstage News On WWE Raw Switching To 2 Hours

More on WWE Raw moving back to 2 hours

A popular change was made to Monday Night Raw this week as WWE announced their flagship show will revert back to being a two-hour programme from October 7 until the end of 2024 as Raw finishes up on the USA Network.

WWE made the announcement during Raw and WrestleVotes has reported that many staff behind the scenes in WWE found out in real time. WWE are also reportedly looking forward to having varying run times for Raw upon the move to Netflix in January 2025.

"Regarding the news of RAW switching to 2 hours for the rest of the year, I've heard that many production and social staff who work behind the scenes found out in real time, just like the rest of us. As for what this means for 2025 and Netflix, one source said WWE is eagerly anticipating the freedom to vary run times as needed. No firm decision has been made either way," WrestleVotes tweeted.

A conflicting report, however, has stated that Raw will be a three-hour programme once again upon the move to Netflix. The move to two hours on USA was also a decision by the network and the expectation is the change will boost WWE Raw's ratings due to losing the third hour.
