Bandido No Shows GCW Show, Issues Statement
Bandido didn’t show up to GCW Devil in a New Dress over the weekend
GCW’s Devil in a New Dress event on April 10 was marred by several no-shows, with the most prominent being that of Bandido.
The former ROH World Champion was meant to face Nick Wayne at the event, but GCW announced on Twitter roughly an hour before the event that Bandido did not get on his scheduled flight, and had not responded to calls or messages.
Bandido himself later Tweeted, taking full responsibility for the no-show:
“Hello to all @GCWrestling_ fans, I just wanna say sorry for not be there tonight in San Francisco! Thank you for all the people to take care about me, Im fine! It was my fault and I hope make up those things as soon as possible see you soon amigos!!”
Bandido last wrestled over WrestleMania weekend at the end of March/beginning of April, wrestling five matches in three days, included his lauded ROH World Championship unification bout with Jonathan Gresham at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor 2022.
