Barbed Wire Massacre Match Set For IMPACT Victory Road 2022

Barbed Wire Massacre V is confirmed for Victory Road

With tensions between Moose, Sami Callihan, and Steve Maclin reaching fever pitch, IMPACT Wrestling have announced that the three will compete in a Barbed Wire Massacre match at Victory Road on September 23 2022.

Callihan issued the challenge on the August 25 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, after Moose and Maclin conspired to wrap ‘The Death Machine’ in barbed wire, with Maclin Moose having formed an uneasy alliance in recent weeks to deal with Sami.

Making the match official, IMPACT issued the following press release:

“The heated rivalry between Sami Callihan, Moose and Steve Maclin is set to explode at Victory Road in a match that promises violence, brutality and bloodshed – this is Barbed Wire Massacre. At Emergence, Callihan exacted a measure of revenge on Maclin for ultimately costing him the Clockwork Orange House of Fun match against Moose. While Moose and Maclin continued to deny a working relationship, Callihan claimed to see through their charade. Two weeks later on IMPACT!, Callihan found himself on the receiving end of a two-on-one assault at the hands of Moose and Maclin as they attacked him with the use of barbed wire. Now they’re set to collide in only the fifth Barbed Wire Massacre in IMPACT history and the first to be contested under Triple Threat rules. Three men will walk into Nashville but will anyone be left standing after Barbed Wire Massacre?

“Who will walk the road to victory? Find out when IMPACT Wrestling presents Victory Road LIVE September 23rd on IMPACT Plus and YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders from Skyway Studios in Nashville, TN! Tickets are on-sale now at Eventbrite.com.”

This will be Callihan’s third Barbed Wire Massacre Match, having been on the losing end against Eddie Edwards at hard To Kill 2021, and against LAX with oVe in January 2018.
