Why The Rascalz Were Pulled From WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match

Reason for WWE NXT change revealed

A late change was made to WWE NXT on Monday as NXT General Manager Ava suddenly announced that The Rascalz would be unable to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships on September 10. Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz were ultimately replaced on NXT by The Street Profits.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported the original plans for the NXT Tag Team Title match on September 10 had to be scrapped due to Trey Miguel undergoing unexpected minor surgery on Sunday. How long Trey Miguel is expected to be on the shelf is unknown.

The Rascalz vs. Wes Lee programme continued on Tuesday night's NXT as Lee challenged Zachary Wentz to a Street Fight on the debut episode on The CW. This comes after Wes Lee initially turned on The Rascalz and then Wentz defeated Lee at NXT No Mercy.

The NXT Tag Team Title match of The Street Profits vs. Nathan Frazer and Axiom ended in a DQ following interference from The Bloodline. If The Rascalz will challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships at a later date is unknown.
