Baron Corbin Received Death Threats Over WWE Angle

Corbin was getting big hate

Baron Corbin has recalled getting death threats from fans during an angle on WWE television in 2019.

Corbin, as part of his feud with Seth Rollins over the Universal Championship, teamed with Lacey Evans to take on Rollins and Becky Lynch in a math for both the Universal Title and the Raw Women's Championship at Extreme Rules 2019.

Towards the end of the bout, Corbin would hit Lynch with his End Of Days finishing move.

The 37-year-old has revealed that his actions in that match prompted such visceral hatred in fans that he received death threats from some individuals.

Speaking on of the Out of Character Podcast with Ryan Satin, Corbin said: "When I hit Becky with the End of Days, I was getting death threats. On a regular basis.

"95% of [critics] are on the internet or safely behind somewhere they can’t be accessed. Roman said it the best one time, that he’s never met a hater in real life. That’s the same kind of thing with me."
