Ben Affleck Looking To Play Hulk Hogan In Potential 'Killing Gawker' Movie

Ben Affleck might be pulling on the red & yellow of Hulk Hogan

Ever wondered what it would be like to see a former Batman actor sporting the classic Hulk Hogan blonde facial hair, ripping his shirt apart, and flexing those pythons, whilst running wild with all the Hulkamaniacs? Well, for those of you who have, for some reason, had that fantasy, you might not have to wait too long.

Per PWInsider, a screenplay centered around the Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker court case, which was a lawsuit filed surrounding the release of a sex tape involving Hogan and Heather Clem, has “picked up considerable steam and is expected to move forward”, with some notable names from Hollywood’s top brass involved too, including Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

KILLING GAWKER, is being set up by the Artists Equity production company, which has Affleck and Damon at the helm. The pair would be looking to play the roles of Hogan (Affleck) and Damon (Gawker).    PWInsider’s report details that the screenplay for KILLING GAWKER is based upon the book Conspiracy: Peter Thiel, Hulk Hogan, Gawker, and the Anatomy of Intrigue, by Ryan Holiday, which looked at the lawsuit.
