Bianca Belair Expects WWE Rematch With Sasha Banks
The two headlined Night One of WrestleMania 37 to rave reviews
One of the major triumphs of WrestleMania 37 was Bianca Belair toppling Sasha Banks to become the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion during the main event of Night One. The match received plaudits from fans and industry veterans alike, and The EST herself is anticipating a rematch.
When speaking with Sports Illustrated, Belair said the following:
“That night at WrestleMania, our match was about so much more than winning the title,” Belair told Sports Illustrated. “We made history. And I’m fully expecting a rematch.
“That moment was bigger than us. Even though I won the title, no one lost that night. That’s why there are videos of Sasha smiling at the end. She had so much fulfilment from what came out of that match. Now, when she comes back and the title is on the line, we’ll see who walks out as champion.”
Banks hasn’t been seen on WWE television since that match but is advertised for WWE’s upcoming live SmackDown on July 16 in Houston Texas. With Belair currently feuding with Banks’ former BFF Bayley, could The Boss get involved too?
