Big E Has Back-Up Plans If He Isn't Cleared For WWE Return

Big E Has Revealed Back-Up Plans In Case He Doesn't Return To The Ring

Big E has been absent from WWE for over a year following a serious injury suffered during a match on SmackDown in March 2022, which saw him ruled out with a broken neck.

His future inside the ring is unclear, with a recent update provided by Big E indicating that he isn’t yet at a position where a comeback between the ropes can be considered. Speaking with Popculture, Big E delved into the possibility of not returning to be a wrestler, and what his back up plans would be in that instance,

“Being able to go to these college campuses and talk to athletes and let them know about WWE and the opportunities here … really resonates [with me]. Because I remember being 23 years old [and] a ‘failed’ football player at Iowa dealing with a bunch of injuries and then trying to figure out [my] entire life. I really love being involved in that way and I’m sure there will be other ways as well that I can be involved while I’m not in the ring.”

Big E has been doing several media appearances for WWE despite not appearing on-screen, so this could be the type of thing he does for the foreseeable future.
