Bobby Lashley's WWE Contract Expiring This Weekend

Bobby Lashley to be gone from WWE this weekend!

Bobby Lashley will soon no longer be a part of WWE.

Fightful Select has reported that Bobby Lashley's contract with WWE expires this weekend. Lashley is expected to leave WWE when his deal comes to an end and there are no creative plans in place for the two-time WWE Champion.

It emerged in July that Bobby Lashley and MVP would be looking to reform the Hurt Business with Shelton Benjamin in All Elite Wrestling when they all become free agents. Fightful added that Lashley has been discussed backstage in AEW but no offer has been made as of yet due to Lashley still being under contract with WWE.

Those close to Lashley believe he will make at least one appearance in AEW and 'The All Mighty' is ready to return to TV. Promotions in Japan are also interested in using Lashley, and the former Bellator fighter also has interest in the fighting world.

Bobby Lashley is currently in his second run with WWE, having returned to the company in 2018. He has had two reigns each with the WWE, United States, and Intercontinental championships over the past six years.

MVP, Lashley's former Hurt Business stablemate, became a free agent last weekend when his WWE contract expired. Shelton Benjamin has been a free agent since his WWE release in September 2023.
