Bobby Lashley Underwent Surgery In The Last Two Months

Bobby Lashley has surgery two months ago

Bobby Lashley is on his way out of WWE, with his contract reportedly expiring this weekend. However, Lashley might not be ready to jump straight back in the ring immediately, as he revealed that he underwent surgery just two months ago.

Lashley was set for the King Of The Ring tournament a few months back, but was replaced at the last minute due to an injury picked up during a live event in France on May 5 - ruling Lashley out and he hasn’t been seen on WWE programming ever since. Lashley opened up on some of the details in an interview with The Laboratory with Plaz, stating that he was supposed to be out for six months, but will be ready sooner than that.

"I had surgery. A little boo boo, happened in France during a match. Just a freak accident. They told me I wasn't supposed to be back for six months. Six weeks, I have the brace off, working out. My physical therapist was like, 'You're not supposed to be able to do that.' 'I'm different.' I'm working out and lifting. I don't think I'm two months out of surgery now and I'm hitting it pretty hard. I think I'll be ready and cleared in less than a month. At that time, we'll see what happens.”

Lashley also mentioned during the interview that he had failed to form a connection with Triple H, and that Vince McMahon saw him as more of a star.
