Brackets Revealed For IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament

Eight teams vie for the gold...

It was announced at last month's Bound For Glory pay-per-view that Impact Wrestling was restoring the long-dormant Knockouts Tag Team titles.

During Saturday night's Turning Point event on Impact Plus, the brackets for the tournament to crown the new champions were revealed.

The quarterfinal round, which begins this Tuesday night, is as follows:

* Tenille Dashwood and Alisha vs. Jessicka Havoc and Nevaeh

* Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle vs. Jordynne Grace and TBA

* Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz vs. Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo

* Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee vs. Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary

Kelly, Michelle, Vox, and Exo are all non-IMPACT regulars. Kelly has appeared in promotions such as WWE (as part of NXT UK) and wXw. Indy veteran Michelle is also a WWE alumnus, having made appearances during husband Drake Maverick's 24/7 title hijinks.

Vox and Exo are sisters that wrestle for various indies under the name The Sea Stars. Vox has also appeared for the NWA.

The finals will be held at IMPACT's Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 16.

The Knockouts Tag Team titles previously existed between 2009 and 2013. The final champions were the intergender duo of Eric Young and ODB.
