Bronson Reed Wrestles Return Match On WWE RAW

Bronson Reed made his in-ring return on WWE RAW

After returning to WWE on the December 19 edition of RAW, Bronson Reed made his official in-ring return on the January 16 RAW, with the former NXT North American Champion making short work of Akira Tozawa.

Tozawa had asked Adam Pearce for a spot in the Royal Rumble with Pearce decreeing he’d have to earn it in singles competition. Unfortunately for Tozawa it was Reed who answered the challenge, with the big man dominating the former 24/7 Champion, crumpling him with a barricade bomb before getting the win with a huge top rope splash.

This was Reed’s first match in a WWE ring since losing to Adam Cole on the July 21 2021 edition of NXT, and Reed’s first match in general since losing to Kazuchika Okada at NJPW Declaration of power in October 2022.

Reed returned to WWE on December 19 2022, assisting The Miz to a ladder match victory over Dexter Lumis. There’s no word as of yet if Reed’s victory over Tozawa has earned him a spot in the Royal Rumble or not.
