Bryan Danielson Wins Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Will Challenge Swerve Strickland At AEW All In

Bryan Danielson will face Swerve Strickland at All In after AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament win

Bryan Danielson is going to All In, with the ‘American Dragon’ set to challenge for the AEW World Championship in Wembley Stadium after merging victorious from the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Danielson faced Hangman Page in the final of the tournament on the July 10 edition of Dynamite live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with both men pulling out all the stops to try and secure victory. An apoplectic Page used his belt to whip Danielson whilst referee Paul Turner was down, only for ringside enforcer Jeff Jarrett to reveal he would step in and officiate the end of the match, with a bloodied Danielson sneaking a win with a roll-up.

Danielson was presented with the Owen title and trophy in a post-match celebration with Dr. Martha Hart, and will now set his sights on All In, having booked his spot in the world title match at the Wembley Stadium show. Swerve Strickland is currently in possession of the title, but it remains to be seen if Strickland’s blood rival Hangman Page will be a factor in the build up to the match.

The third winner in men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament history, Danielson joins Adam Cole and Ricky Starks as previous winners of the tournament.
