Tony Khan Makes Big Revelation About The Future Of AEW ON TBS & TNT

Tony Khan has given an insight into what to expect from AEW's negotiations with WBD

The long saga regarding AEW’s potential new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery has been ongoing for a long time now, and despite a lot of rumblings, rumours and talk of something being completed and imminently announced, nothing has yet been revealed about AEW’s programming and its relationship with WBD. Earlier last month, it was noted that the negotiating window between the two sides had expired, though this did not yet lead to anything being announced. Talk was spurred up again at the back end of last month as Tony Khan began wearing WBD and TBS/TNT caps during interviews after revealing he’d met with WBD’s David Zaslav in Paris.

During last night’s Collision & Rampage double header, Khan emerged to talk to the fans like he often does, and this time he offered some insight into what to expect from TV deal negotiations. Khan said, “I feel pretty good to say that AEW on TBS and TNT I think is here to say.” Again, this isn’t anything absolutely concrete, but it does indicate that things are nearly done and to expect some form of announcement in the very near future regarding AEW’s future on TBS and TNT.
