Chris Jericho Thinks He Can Have A Great Match With Mike Tyson In AEW

Its up to Le Champion to make it great...

On this week's episode of Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson got into a heated confrontation as 10 years of bad blood boiled to the surface. The two men got into each other's faces in the main event segment as Le Champion demanded an apology from Iron Mike for punching him in the face on an episode of Monday Night Raw back in 2010.

Tyson then flexed his muscles at Jericho and out of nowhere pushed The Painmaker, causing a mass brawl to break out as Dynamite went off the air.

The confrontation was seemingly to set up a match down the line, possibly at All Out on September 5, but many have questioned whether the former boxer would be able to wrestle to a passable standard.

One person who isn't doubting Tyson is Jericho himself, who told Stephanie Chase at Digital Spy that Tyson is "capable" of having a match inside the squared circle, but that it's ultimately up to him to make it great.

The former AEW World Champion said: "It's not up to him, that's up to me. Of course, he's capable. Wrestling is all shapes and sizes and there's a lot of different ways to do it. So if he's agreeable to doing something with us, then we work to his strengths and eliminate his weaknesses that's what wrestling's all about."
