CM Punk Issues Short Response To Dax Harwood's Plea For Him & The Elite To 'Make It Work'

CM Punk addresses Dax Harwood's plea

CM Punk has issued a short response to Dax Harwood's plea for the two-time AEW World Champion and The Elite to "make it work"

CM Punk is currently away from AEW following a backstage fight with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega after Punk's infamous post-All Out media scrum. Punk is out of action with a torn triceps that he suffered in the main event of All Out but he was also in talks with AEW about a contract buyout as of last word.

If Punk will be back in AEW remains to be seen but Dax Harwood issued a plea for The Elite and Punk to settle their differences for the good of professional wrestling.

"This is my plea to all four guys. Please find a way to make it work. If we can make it work, we can set up the future of professional wrestling for a long time and we can change the course of professional wrestling for a very long time. When you think about it, unselfishly, we're doing this for 20-30 years down the road so guys and girls can make a living," Harwood said.

The two-time AEW World Champion has since responded to the plea, replying to an Instagram post from the Pro Wrestling Podcast which urged The Elite and Punk to shake hands and apologise to each other.

Addressing the situation, Punk simply wrote: "Duh."

If this means Punk is now open to remaining with AEW is unknown.
