Cody Wins The TNT Championship On AEW: Dynamite

The rivalry between The Nightmare Family and The Dark Order continued on last night's episode of AEW: Dynamite as Brodie Lee defended the TNT Championship against Cody in a Dog Collar Match.
The Exalted One squashed his opponent in three minutes back in August to win the title, but he wasn't able to defeat The American Nightmare so easily this time around.
Both men went to war with each other for 20 minutes and were battered and bloodied as the match came to its conclusion. Mr. Brodie tried to put the challenger away with the Discus Clothesline but Cody countered into the Curtain Call. The TNT Champion was ultimately unable to recover from the move and the AEW EVP picked him up and connected with a devastating Cross Rhodes for the 1-2-3.
The new champion cut an impassioned promo after the bell, but he won't have long to prepare for his first title defence as he will go one on one with Orange Cassidy next week.
