Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez Win WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Titles At Great American Bash

New champions crowned at WWE NXT Great American Bash

The 2022 edition of WWE NXT Great American Bash opened with a title change on July 5 as Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade defeated Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to win the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships.

Mandy Rose was ejected from ringside during the opening contest after she stopped the referee from counting the winning pinfall for Roxanne Perez. Cora Jade then took out Jacy Jayne in the final moments, sending them both tumbling through the ropes, and Roxanne Perez capitalised in the ring, hitting Gigi Dolin with Pop Rox for the victory.

With the win, Jade and Perez have captured their first gold in WWE. It also means Toxic Attraction's second reign as NXT Women's Tag Team Champions has come to an end after 91 days and two title defences.

Outside of a three-day reign for Raquel Gonzalez (now Raquel Rodriguez) and Dakota Kai in April, Dolin and Jayne had been tag champions since Halloween Havoc in October of 2021 for a combined 249 days.
