Corey Graves Believes Crown Jewel 2021 Was Goldberg's Best Match In WWE

Goldberg defeated Bobby Lashley at the show

Corey Graves believes Goldberg's No Holds Barred Match with Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 is the Hall Of Famer's best bout in the company.

Goldberg and Lashley put on a physical war in Saudi Arabia just under two weeks ago, with the former winning the match after spearing The All Mighty off the entrance ramp and through a table.

While the 54-year-old's most recent matches in WWE have come under criticism, Graves feels this bout might be the former Universal Champion's best in the promotion.

Speaking on his After The Bell Podcast, Graves said: "I don't know if this is the popular opinion, but this is my opinion, that Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg may have been the best Goldberg match I've ever seen.

"Goldberg's a Hall of Famer. He would not be out of line in going, 'Hey, I've done everything that I can do, I'm ready to call it a career.' But the fact that Goldberg stepped up at this stage in his career... Most of Goldberg's matches are short, they're impactful. You want to see the Spear, you want to see the Jackhammer, you want to see him freak out and bring the intensity.

"This is a longer match than we are used to seeing from Goldberg and for my money, and at least pertaining to his WWE run, best Goldberg match that I've seen."
