Danny Burch Returns From Injury on August 24 WWE NXT

Burch is back after five months out

Danny Burch made his return from injury on this week's episode of WWE NXT, realigning with tag-team partner Oney Lorcan, Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland.

The opening match of the show on Tuesday 24 August saw Holland, who was accompanied to the ring by Dunne, defeat Timothy Thatcher, who was joined by Tommaso Ciampa. At the conclusion of the bout, the four men brawled, only for Lorcan and the Danny Burch to run to the ring to help their British brothers.

The four men focused their attack on Thatcher, leaving him injured in the ring to close out the segment.

Burch has been out of action since mid-March when he and Lorcan faced Karrion Kross and Finn Balor in tag-team action.

Burch separated his shoulder following a Suplex by Kross, forcing him onto the shelf and General Manager William Regal to vacate the NXT Tag Team Titles held by him and Lorcan.

After five months recovering, it appears the 39-year-old is now back and aligning himself once again with Dunne, Lorcan and the also recently-returned Holland.
