Doc Gallows Thought He And Karl Anderson Were Sell-Outs for Leaving NJPW To Join WWE

Back in April 2016, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows made their WWE debuts. The pair had been a popular tag team in New Japan Pro-Wrestling since the end of 2013 as part of Bullet Club, but ultimately decided to leave the promotion along with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in early 2016. 

Gallows and Anderson have since been released by WWE back on April 15, 2019, and Big LG was a recent guest on Tama's Island with Tama Tonga and talked about leaving NJPW. He revealed it was a very difficult decision as he left a lot of his friends behind to join the wrestling behemoth and that he and Anderson felt like sell-outs because they only signed with WWE "for the money."

Gallows said: "It left a hole in our hearts too and then, not to cut you off, but we're sitting there in some hotel with two bottles of f*****g seven dollar wine because we're just going, 'God damn, what the f**k. Why?' 'We did it for the money.' 'I know, but f**k.' There were a lot of nights of that, man, and you know what, you've got to eat that. You've got to live that because you made a decision. You made this f*****g decision but we had so many of those nights… It sucked. I hated it and I thought we were, I can't say the word I want to say, I thought we were sell-outs."
