Drew McIntyre No Longer Advertised For WWE Money In The Bank

No Drew McIntyre at WWE Money in the Bank?

Amid uncertainty over his long-term future with the company, Drew McIntyre is no longer advertised to appear at WWE's Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The show is scheduled to take place on July 1 at The O2 in London, England.

McIntyre was originally advertised for the show on WWE.com along with Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Charlotte Flair. Who is scheduled to appear has since been updated, though, and McIntyre and Charlotte Flair have been removed from the list of 'featured superstars.'

Replacing them in being advertised for Money in the Bank is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley.

McIntyre is currently off WWE TV to recover from being banged up ahead of WrestleMania 39. His future with WWE is unclear after it emerged his contract expires at the end of 2023 and both parties were far apart on money. McIntyre was also said to be unhappy about WWE's plans for him.

Hailing from Scotland, Irn Dru remains hugely popular in the United Kingdom and he main-evented WWE's last major show in the UK, Clash at the Castle. McIntyre failed to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at the event following interference from Solo Sikoa. Drew then had a sing-along with Tyson Fury to end the event.
