Drew McIntyre Pulled From WWE SmackDown

Drew McIntyre has been pulled from this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The two-time WWE Champion was set to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles with Sheamus on SmackDown but McIntyre has announced he is medically disqualified from wrestling on the show. 

"Unfortunately I am medically disqualified to compete this Friday on #Smackdown. I don't like to miss any shows as everybody knows but I promise I'll be back soon," McIntyre tweeted. 

What injury McIntyre is dealing with is unknown. He hasn't wrestled since a house show on November 27. 

Replacing McIntyre in the title match is Butch. The former Pete Dunne has unsuccessfully challenged for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions in recent months alongside Ridge Holland.

The Usos remain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. They successfully defended the belts against Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.
