Elias Reacts To Joe Hendry's WWE NXT Concert

Elias responds to Joe Hendry's live WWE NXT concert

After much anticipation, Joe Hendry performed a live concert inside the WWE Performance Center during night one of NXT Great American Bash on Tuesday, July 30. Hendry made references to chef Shawn Michaels, Booker T being the president of his fan club, Gallus' ugliness leading to their deportation from the United Kingdom, and Dutch Mantell. Hendry was eventually interrupted by Gallus to end the performance.

An aficionado of live performances in pro wrestling found himself reacting to Hendry's live concert, though, as Elijah (FKA Elias in WWE) responded to Hendry with a GIF of himself saying, "Ok. I can't look at that."

Elijah also retweeted a post from Josh Alexander that claimed Elias was better than Joe Hendry. Alexander turned heel at Slammiversary and eliminated Hendry from the Six-Way Match for the TNA World Championship in the main event of the July 20 pay-per-view.

Joe Hendry and Elijah have had their own issues outside of WWE in July and Hendry defeated Elijah in their singles match at NORTH Thunderstruck 2 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Hendry initially interrupted Elijah with 'Hendry took his job' to the tune of 'Give it up' by KC and the Sunshine Band and the TNA star eventually won the match with a small package. Elijah then threatened to deck Hendry with his guitar post-match before revealing that he actually believes in Joe Hendry.

Joe Hendry is currently appearing on WWE NXT as part of the working relationship between TNA and WWE. He made his debut on June 18 and Hendry revealed in recent weeks that he plans to stick around in NXT.

Elijah, meanwhile, has been a free agent performing on the indies since his WWE release in September 2023.
