EXCLUSIVE: Bianca Belair Details The Importance Of The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles

Bianca Belair comments on the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

After Sasha Banks and Naomi were stripped of the belts in May, the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships disappeared from WWE TV until the company held a tournament in August to crown new champions.

That tournament was ultimately won by Raquel Gonzalez and Aliyah, who have since emerged victorious in two non-title matches against Toxic Attraction, and Nikki A.S.H and Doudrop.

Speaking with Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell ahead of Clash At The Castle, Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair commented on the importance of the tag titles in representing the women's division.

"It's very important. I'm just so proud and happy for Raquel [Gonzalez] and Aliyah to be representing our division as tag team champions. Every single woman that was in that tournament, they worked so hard for those titles. It's very important to have that representation because our women's division is so amazing, it's so extensive. We have so many talented women so to have them representing our division, I think we're on the right track," Belair said.

The Women's Tag Team Titles were introduced back in 2019. Raquel Gonzalez and Aliyah are the 14th champions.
