Shinsuke Nakamura Simply Not Being Used By WWE

WWE just not booking Shinsuke Nakamura at the moment

Shinsuke Nakamura isn't currently suffering from an injury and he is reportedly just not being used by WWE on the company's televised programming.

This is according to Sean Ross Sapp, who said on a Fightful Select Q&A: "He is healthy. He is fine. He was working WWE overseas tours, but just not being used at the moment."

Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't wrestled on WWE TV since the April 22 episode of Raw when he lost to Sheamus. Nakamura hasn't won a televised match since February and he has only picked up two wins on TV since November 2023.

Nakamura was on the receiving end of a push in 2023, twice challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship. He then feuded with Cody Rhodes in late 2023 and early 2024. Nakamura's push was reportedly partly due to WWE's interest in Kazuchika Okada but Nakamura's former Chaos stablemate ultimately signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Nakamura has been booked on WWE house shows during his absence from TV and he was prominently featured during the company's tour of Japan in the Summer. Nakamura's last match was at WWE's live event in Frankfurt, Germany on August 29.
