Fans Returning To ROH At Best In The World

Fans will be back soon

For the first time in over a year, fans will be in attendance for a Ring Of Honor show.

The promotion announced that fans will be back in the arena for the Best In The World pay-per-view on Sunday, July 11. The show is scheduled to take place at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

The show will run with a limited capacity and fans will be seated in pods to ensure social distancing is in place. Masks must also be worn by those in attendance and fans will have their temperature checked.

ROH COO Joe Koff said: "Our locker room-full of tremendous athletes have missed the energy of connecting with our great fans that you only get with a live show. We look forward to giving them more of the best bell-to-bell action, including the return of the 'Survival of the Fittest' tournament and the highly anticipated Women's Championship Tournament this summer.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of our talented athletes, fans and everyone who has done their part to keep each other safe. It's been a challenging year, no doubt, but we're excited to continue to ramp up what we do best. Nothing beats the thrill of witnessing The Best Wrestling on the Planet and seeing your favourite stars LIVE and in-person. We would like to do this still with the fans' safety, health and well-being as ROH’s top priorities."

This will be ROH's first show in front of fans since Gateway To Honor back on February 29, 2020. The promotion went on hiatus as the COVID-19 pandemic worsened but they resumed shows in September and have taped events at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland ever since.
