Five Matches Set For AEW Fight For The Fallen

AEW's whirlwind July continues

Five matches and a special announcement have been announced for next week's AEW Fight For the Fallen card, taking place in Charlotte.

In addition to previously announced matches such as Chris Jericho vs. Nick Gage and the Super Elite vs. Dark Order ten man tag, FTR will take on Proud and Powerful in tag team action. Also announced is a six-man tag pitting Christian Cage and Jurassic Express against Matt Hardy associates Angelico and Private Party.

New IWGP US champion Lance Archer will defend his title against Bullet Club member Hikuleo.

In addition, Tony Khan will be making an announcement regarding a "new live event."

The card for Fight For the Fallen, taking place Wednesday, July 28 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, is as follows:

* No Disqualification match: Chris Jericho vs. Nick Gage

* Elimination match: Kenny Omega, The Good Brothers, and The Young Bucks vs. Adam Page, Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Evil Uno, and Stu Grayson (If Page and The Dark Order win, they earn shots at the World and Tag Team titles, respectively)

* FTR vs. Proud and Powerful

* IWGP United States: Lance Archer (c) vs. Hikuleo

* Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus vs. Angelico and Private Party

* Plus, Tony Khan will make a "special event" announcement
