Former Knockouts World Champion & WWE Women's Champion Makes In-Ring Return

A former star was back in IMPACT Wrestling

A former Knockouts World Champion and WWE Women's Champion returned to the squared circle this week.

Gisele Shaw challenged The Death Dollz of Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships on the January 26 edition of IMPACT Wrestling and Shaw revealed her mystery partner was Tara (FKA Victoria in WWE). The tag team did not go to plan, though, and Tara was soon fed up of Shaw's pushiness and dropped her tag team partner with the Widow's Peak.

Valkyrie and Jessicka then pinned Shaw in their latest successful defence of the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.

Tara's in-ring return came only a couple of weeks after she returned to IMPACT Wrestling at Hard to Kill, appearing in a backstage segment with Mickie James and Raven before she celebrated with Mickie after she regained the Knockouts World Championship.

Thursday's match was Tara's first inside the squared circle since she returned to WWE in the 2021 Royal Rumble. She was full-time inside the ring from her debut in 2000 until 2019.
