Free Agent Spotted Backstage At AEW Dynamite
There was an interesting free agent present backstage at AEW Dynamite last night
Former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille has been the subject of several rumours in recent weeks following the expiration of her deal with the NWA, with many signs pointing towards her signing with WWE, with it being noted in reports that it was “expected” for her to land with the promotion.
There has been an interesting development on this front, as a report from Fightful Select has indicated that Kamille was actually backstage at AEW Dynamite last night on January 17, at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina.
This doesn’t rule out Kamille signing with WWE though, as the report goes on to say that Kamille was visiting friends backstage at the show, rather than engaging in any talks. It is believed that Kamille hasn’t signed a deal with WWE as of yet, but there are no current rumours of her signing with AEW, despite being present at last night’s show. Kamille is one of the hottest free agents on the market after a strong run in the NWA where she reigned as the top champion in the women’s division for 812 days between 2021 and 2023.
