AEW recorded a bumper two-hour Rampage as part of Grand Slam

AEW returned to Queens, New York for Grand Slam 2022 from Arthur Ashe stadium, presenting an historic live episode of Dynamite on September 21.

As part of the Grand Slam event, AEW also recorded a bumper two hour edition of AEW: Rampage, set to air on Friday, September 23.

- SPOILERS AHEAD -

We have a new number one contender to the AEW World Championship as former champ Hangman Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royal, last eliminating RUSH. Page will face new champion Jon Moxley on Tuesday Night Dynamite on October 18, in Cincinnati Ohio.

Action Bronson and HOOK defeated 2point0 in tag action, with ‘Bam Bam’ and HOOK getting the win with stereo RedRums. Bronson wasn’t the only hip-hop star involved with the show, as Trina accompanied Diamante to the ring for her shot at TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Cargill retained the title, and ‘da baddest b***h’ Trina turned her back on Diamante to shake hands with ‘that b***h’ Cargill.

In another surprise to the evening’s proceedings, Sting and Darby Allin defeated The House of Black when the legendary Great Muta arrived, hitting Buddy Matthews with the green mist after it looked like he was there to tangle with old rival Sting once more.

Full results:

  • Sting & Darby Allin def. The House of Black - No DQ Match
  • HOOK & Action Bronson def. 2point0
